Mission

To provide support, help, resources and emergency assistance to First Responders and Public Safety personnel (including LEOs, FFs, EMTs, Dispatchers, Correction Officers, etc)  and their families. We offer various types of assistance and provide, PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL resources in order to assist Responders with work-related problems, maintaining good mental health and living their best lives.

Specific types of financial assistance offered

  •  Groceries and nonfood essentials.

  •  Pet support (food, supplies, basic vet care if necessary, license etc.)

  •  Emergency Housing (due to homelessness, disability or inclement weather)

  •  Permanent Housing (in the form of paying or helping to pay the security deposit on a rental property)

  •  Miscellaneous Assistance (utility bills, reasonable auto repairs, prescription assistance)

    •   Actual bills, such as utilities, MUST be payable online as a guest without the applicant's log in.

  •  Emergency childcare (in the event of emergency or unexpected circumstance)

 

Terms

  • We DO NOT assist with rent, taxes, vehicle payments, mortgage, credit card bills, child support or legal fees/fines.

  • The Responder MUST apply themselves with their own contact information.

    • We will not accept applications from spouses.

  • All items shall be in the form of gift cards or payment directly to the vendors. You MUST upload the complete bill you are requesting.

  • If applying for financial assistance you MUST provide current professional identification, three (3) pay stubs no more than 45 days old, or verification of Workman's Compensation or disability determination.

  • If applying for family assistance Responder must provide documentation that establishes dependency status for each dependent. They  must be Responder's natural children, through marriage, or legal adoption/fostering. Relatives are not eligible.

  • All items shall be in the form of gift cards or payment directly to the vendors. You MUST upload the complete bill you are requesting assistance with. It must show your name, account number and, for utilities assistance, your complete address.

  • We will not send cash or checks, donate to GoFundMe or other fundraisers or share GoFundMe links.

  • We will respond to all applications as soon as possible, however, because we are a 100% volunteer organization there may be a slight delay. Ideally approval/disapproval of applications and execution of decision will normally be within 72 hours. If we have to call or ask for more information this will take longer, which is why it is so important to provide us with the correct documentation when you apply.
