One year ago today at 1750 local at Abbey gate of the Kabul airport a bomb was detonated, killing 13 brave men and women and injuring countless others. They gave their lives saving men, women and children from the butchery and oppression of the Taliban and their partners in terror.
We understand that the circumstances before, during and after the bombing a year ago stir up deep feelings for many. While we try to keep political discussions to a minimum on Facebook, for several reasons, please feel free to discuss how you feel about the withdrawal of our forces from Afghanistan. We do ask, if you disagree with someone, you remain respectful of others and refrain from personal insults and attacks. Thanks. ~ DSoS
