In less than a week we've had to turn away TEN veterans and first responders. Some needed help with household bills, some needed help getting or staying off the street, some needed food. Most have kids. If you think I'm trying to tug at your heartstrings, you're right. I am.
If you look at the top of our Facebook page, you'll see we've got 246,583 who follow it. If HALF of you kicked in a BUCK we could operate for at least a year or 18 months. AT LEAST. Hells bells we built a website, our nonprofit org, got it all approved, set up and operating AND helped 26 families with less than $18 grand.
