Start by remembering what we were trained to do, run TOWARD the threat. Sooner or later the demons and monsters that live in the darker reaches of our minds have to be faced and it's almost always better to do that sooner rather than later. There are literally hundreds of resources available for vets and/or first responders with those kinds of issues.
The second thing you do is REACH OUT to someone who can help you find the right weapons to fight the bastards with. You can reach out to us, to a family member or friend, to a counselor or clergyman. You won't have to walk that path alone but the first step is up to you.
